医学技术学院于2017年6月,根据河北省教育厅冀教人201610号文件批复宣布成立。学院有医学检验系、康复治疗系及实验诊断学教研室。开设医学检验技术和康复治疗学两个专业。目前在校生共505人,其中医学检验技术专业237人,康复治疗专业268人。本科教育面向全国一批招生,授予理学学士学位,学制均为4年。实习基地以河北省为主遍布国内,包括河北医科大学第一、第二、第三、第四医院、河北省人民医院、河北省儿童医院、燕达国际医院、上海市浦东医院、中国人民解放军第307医院等。近三年,多名本科毕业生考取了北京大学医学部、北京协和医学院、天津医科大学、南京医科大学等高校的硕士研究生,还有部分学生选择了在北京、上海、天津等三甲医院就业。学院医学检验技术专业毕业生在各医学专业中就业率较高、第一届(2015级)康复治疗专业毕业生就业率达到了百分之百。

医学检验专业起步于1984年,经历了20年的发展建设已初具规模,2004年10月依托河北医科大学第二医院成立医学检验系,设置临床生化及生化检验教研室、临床免疫及免疫检验教研室、临床微生物及微生物检验教研室、临床血液及血液检验教研室。现有教师136人,其中具有博士学位11人、硕士学位43人,正高级职称25人、副高级职称36人。教师近三年承担国家自然基金4项,河北省自然基金3项,省厅级课题46项;发表科研论文201篇,其中SCI共26篇、中文核心期刊论文178篇;获得河北省科学技术成果25项,授权国内实用新型专利4项,担任学术组织任职161项;教师近三年主编及参编国家级“十二五”、“十三五”规划教材10部,卫计委系列规划教材3部和校级教材1部。2019年,医学检验技术专业入选省级一流本科专业建设专业。

康复治疗专业以河北医科大学第三医院骨科康复为基础,经过多年的投入和积累,发展成为我校的特色专业,于2014年开始招生,开设了康复功能评定学、运动疗法技术学、作业疗法技术学、理疗学、言语治疗学、神经康复学、内外科疾病康复学、儿童康复学、肌肉骨骼康复学、社区康复学、假肢矫形器学等课程。现有教师83人,其中具有博士学位6人、硕士学位28人;正高级职称8人、副高级职称11人,40岁以下的中青年教师41人。近三年来,全系教师主持各级科研课题 10余项,在重要期刊发表教学科研论文25篇,其中被SCI/EI收录论文12篇,主(参)编著作或教材9部。两个专业均有多名教师担任国家及省市学术团体的主任委员等各级学术职务。

2018年,学院成为了医学技术专业一级学科硕士学位授予权单位,现有硕士生导师35名。


The School of Medical Technology was established in June 2017 according to the No. 10 document of Hebei Education Department (2016). The school has 3 departments: medical laboratory, rehabilitation therapeutics and experimental diagnostics. It offers two specialties: medical examination technology and rehabilitation therapy. At present, the school has a total of 505 students, among whom 237 are majoring in medical examination technology and 268 are majoring in rehabilitation treatment. The internship bases are mainly located in Hebei Province, including the first, second, third and fourth hospitals of Hebei Medical University, Hebei General Hospital, Children's Hospital of Hebei Province, Yanda International Hospital, Shanghai Pudong Hospital, 307 Hospital of the Chinese PLA, etc. In the past three years, many undergraduate graduates have been admitted to Peking University Health Science Center, Peking Union Medical College, Tianjin Medical University, Nanjing Medical University and other universities for master's degree. The employment rate of medical examination technology graduates of the college is relatively high among all medical majors, and the employment rate of the first class (2015 batch) of rehabilitation treatment graduates has reached 100%.

Medical laboratory sciences specialty started in 1984.The Department of Medical Laboratory Sciences established in October 2004, relying on the Second Hospital of Hebei Medical University. The department has four sections, section of clinical biochemistry , section of clinical immunology , section of clinical microbiology  and section of clinical hematology Currently, there are 136 teachers, including 11 with doctor's degree, 43 with master's degree,25 professors  and 36 with associate professors . In the past three years, teachers have undertaken 4 projects of Chinese National Natural Fund, 3 projects of Natural Fund of Hebei Province, and 46 projects of provincial department level.  201 scientific research papers were published , including 26 SCI papers and 178 papers in Chinese core journals.In 2019, the Medical Laboratory Sciences Specialty was selected as a provincial first-class undergraduate major.

Rehabilitation Science on the basis of the Third hospital of Hebei medical University orthopaedic rehabilitation, after many years of investment and accumulation, developed into our school’s characteristic specialty. We began to recruit students in 2014, opening the function evaluation of rehabilitation, exercise therapy technology, occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech therapy,  rehabilitation of nerve system, recovery of local disease, children's rehabilitation, muscloskeletal rehabilitation, community based rehabilitation, prosthetic orthopaedic apparatus etc Currently, there are 83 teachers, including 6 with doctor's degree and 28 with master's degree. There are 8 senior professional titles, 11 deputy senior professional titles, and 41 young and middle-aged teachers under the age of 40. In the past three years, the faculty has presided over more than 10 scientific research projects at all levels, published 25 teaching and scientific research papers in important journals, including 12 papers in SCI/EI, and 9 main (participating) books or textbooks. Many teachers of both majors hold academic posts at various levels, such as chairman of national and provincial academic bodies.

In 2018, the school became a first-level master's degree granting institution in medical technology, with 35 master's supervisors.
